Code Refinery Launches New Name

APEX, NC - January 25, 2002
Code Refinery, formerly The Technology Integration Group, today announces the launch of its new name and brand. Started in 1997 with seed investments by co-founders Samir Dandekar, Director of Business Development and Mike Brown, Director of Operations, Code Refinery has experienced an impressive average annual revenue growth of 33% over the past five years. The company specializes in providing software validation and custom software to the lab automation and medical device industries. Its clients include Tecan US, TriPath Imaging, the National Human Genome Research Institute and Sphinx Pharmaceuticals among others.

According to Dandekar, "The motivation behind our rebranding was to better focus on our clients and on our core service offerings. Just like a refinery takes raw materials and transforms them into valuable products, we offer services to enhance our clients' original concepts. By taking their projects through a formal development process, we help create additional value in their end product." Code Refinery's customized and client focused service solutions have made a very strong impression on its customers. "Code Refinery's work for us involving Center for Biologics and Evaluation and Research (CBER) regulated devices has been excellent. We have used them for multiple projects to date and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of their work", says Roger Keim, Software Manager, Tecan US.

The company officially launches its new name this weekend at the prestigious LabAutomation 2002 annual conference in Palm Springs, CA which hosts more than 2500 industry leaders and showcases the latest technologies in the laboratory technology industry.

Code Refinery is located on Candun Drive in Apex, North Carolina. For additional information about the company or its services, visit http://www.code-refinery.com or call (919) 367-0003.
